Aurélien, guitariste manouche, est né en 1978. Durant son enfance, son père, grand amateur de jazz et guitariste, l’emmenait déjà écouter les concerts de la « chope des puces », un lieu très prisé des musiciens de swing. La magie de ces après-midi musicaux opère instantanément ; pour Aurélien ce sera la guitare et rien d’autre. Bien plus qu’un caprice d’enfant, c’est une véritable passion étonnement précoce à un âge où l’on préfère plutôt jouer avec ses amis. Il faut dire que dans la famille, la vie est bercée par les vieux disques de Django Reinhardt et du Hot Club de France dont Aurélien commence à apprendre le contenu d’oreille. D’abord les thèmes d’introduction, puis plus tardivement les solos de la guitare grâce auxquels il forgera la base de sa technique et de ses propres improvisations. Chaque année, Aurélien se rend au festival Django de Samois-sur-Seine où amateurs éclairés et professionnels se côtoient. Là, il développe son jeu d’accompagnateur et de soliste. La musique de Django n’est évidemment pas seule source d’inspiration. De nombreux musiciens déjà ont développé leur propre style tout en restant dans l’esprit du Hot Club. Aussi le swing de Tchavolo Schmitt, la fougue andalouse de Raphaël Fays, la pureté virtuose de Stochelo Rosenberg, le génie musical de Dorado Schmitt, la créativité d’Angelo Debarre, et le talent de Romane ont-ils nuancé le style d’Aurélien tout au long de son apprentissage.
Parmi les nombreuses formations auxquelles il a participé, notons une étroite collaboration avec le violoniste Shàrl Dragan, avec lesquels il se produit depuis douze ans et a fondé le groupe
Tarné Spilari, mais aussi le guitariste TiFrère du « Ziegler quartet » durant deux ans, ainsi que le groupe « Am Ketenes » avec lequel il se produit au festival off de Samois-sur-Seine,a "Swing 41" de Salbris et enregistre un disque.On peut l'entendre au côté de Michel Randria, ce guitariste Malgache aussi misterieux que talentueux, pour des impro-performances sans limites stylistiques et sans frontières depuis de nombreuses années. Fred Manoukian à fait appel à lui ansi qu'à Xido pour l'enregistrement d'un titre "Nonchalant" dans le dernier disque de Guy Marchand (La Dernière Vague sorti chez O+).Ce dernier leur à proposé une collaboration pour un concert unique mais cette fois avec Tarné Spilari en entier. En 2007 il participe à un projet de musique électronique, mèlé a un son "swing" initier par José Le Gall (Guitariste, arrangeur, auteur compositeur notamment pour Michel Fugain et Gérard Lenormand); ce CD s'appelle Electro Swing Lady sorti chez Kosinus.
Aurélien,french gipsy, jazz guitarist, was born in 1978. Also the swing of Tchavolo Schmitt, the Andalusian ardour of Raphaël Fays, the purity virtuoso of Stochelo Rosenberg, the musical genius of Dorado Schmitt, the creativity of Angelo Debars, and the talent of Romane, moderated the Aurélien’s style throughout its training.Among the many formations whith he works, we can see a very long cooperation with the violonist Shàrl Dragan for twelve years.
