|
| Bio | Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA to a Mexican-American single mother of two, Aurelio Miguel Bocanegra was not always a funny guy. Aurelio grew up as the shy silent kid through most of his younger years. After two tours in the US Air Force, Aurelio discovered he had a talent for making people laugh. By traveling the world several times over and being stationed with people from all over the US, Aurelio was able to use humor as a way to bond with his fellow servicemen and women. He was also able to use humor to help everyone cope with even the toughest situations and make them funny. Since picking up the microphone in 2002 Aurelio has become a favorite and a regular on the LA comedy circuit. He has performed and opened for such comedy greats as Steve Trevino, Carlos Mencia, Paul Rodriguez, Jeff Garcia, Richard Villa, Joey Medina, Jo Koy, and many more. His comedic style and energy are off the charts. Once on stage he electrifies the audience with his high energy and rapid fire comedy. Aurelio has been earning his comedic stripes by performing not only in the big Comedy Clubs around LA but also in local comedy shows. In LA’s urban jungle this has meant performing in front of some of the toughest audiences, literally. In 2008 Aurelio's talents extended beyond comedy and into acting. He has co-stared in several independent feature films with many more currently in development. Aurelio's talents for entertaining are undeniable. His comedy has audiences and critics responding in one way. They want more.
