Location – Manchester UK
Genre – Metal/Experimental
Aurora-project is a 5-piece band from North England, which plays original rock and metal music, with influences ranging from folk and classical, to metal and heavy rock.
Formed in 2006, the band is fronted by singer Lisa, and features Jim on guitar, Rob on mandolin and viola, Gaz on bass and Paul on drums. All five members are experienced musicians, having been involved in a wide variety of musical projects, events and bands, and each member brings in their own influences to make Aurora-Project’s music somewhat unique, and exciting to listen to. This band is not afraid to experiment with different rhythms, key, tonality and scale. Driven by heavy guitar and drums and bass, the listener can expect all the excitement of heavy rock and metal, decorated by the classical/folk/gypsy-influenced mandolin and viola parts, with a melodic vocal melody.
Having written enough songs to play a fun and exciting set, Aurora-Project is now gearing up to booking shows across the UK, and hopes to have a professionally recorded demo EP available in the near future.

Dopo l'esordio discografico di "Splinters of Life" con la prestigiosa Limb Music Products i Flashback of Anger calcano il palco del Viper Theatre! Non mancate!
Nice one, I'm looking forward to hearing them. A few of the tracks I have up need remixing, especially 'Dreaming' cos it's a bit glitchy sometimes and distorts cos of the levels and stuff and the drums need EQ-ing slightly differently also, then it'll sound a bit clearer, hopefully :). I'm so knackered right now, I've just walked for about 4 or 5 miles from my mums to my dads took from 1 in the morning to 2:45 in the morning and I got stopped by drug dealers aswell which was a little intimidating to say the least =S.
Thanks man, yeah I'm really into Industrial atm also, bit of Drum & Bass also, I played drums on a D&B track and I got really into it and then started listening to it too. everythings alrite, started playing at jam sessions and stuff, still not found anyone serious about a band yet though. How are you? got any new tracks?
Thanks Guys & The Lovely Lisa for a a more than awesome set at the Charity gig You sure are better than girls aloud - Nice one Jamie - Never a truer word said we raised £566.00 for the charity on the day which is all great news. its thanks to bands like yourselves that this event was able to take place I will update you when I get a certificate from Rainbow Family Trust
Oh cool, I'm currently in the writing stages myself. I've created a few ambient tracks whilst I've been in college and I'm almost ready to record a 'proper' track soon, so i'll send you a link to my band page once I sort one out and upload something. Yeh it'll be good to come and see you play again, I'll look forward to your album, cheers for letting me know. :]

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support for the Thatched House gig supporting Black Succubi. I heard that you and BS played fantastically and I am sorry to hear that there were not more people there to make it an excellent night.
Totally outstanding performance at the Thatched House in every way your stage presence seemed to go to a higher level tonight shame there were not more people there to appreciate all you and Black Succbi had to give them Keep rockin - Kaz xx
