HAPPY LOVE DAY TO ALL!!!! .. WELCOME EVERYONE, THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF US AND LET THE SHOW BEGIN! .. JuSt So YoU kNoW: 98% OF WHAT WE DO IS COMPLETE IMPROV; RIGHT OFF THE CUFF!!! NO TRIAL RUNS!!! SO IF IT SOUNDS UNPOLISHED & RAW, IT'S BECAUSE IT IS!!!! :D .. THIS IS AN EXISTENTIAL EXPERIMENT!!! .. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ .. iT'S A REAL PLEASURE & HONOUR THAT YOU CAME BY FOR A VISIT AND WE TRULY HOPE YOU RETURN TO HEAR WHAT OTHER CRAZY STUFF WE'VE COME UP WITH!!!! We usually upload new jams sometime after each EXPLOSION (every 3 wks or so). Who knows what we'll come up with next!!! :D .. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ .. Introducing........................AURORA STARRS eXPLOSION: This whole thing started when three musically inclined (of various levels) work buddies - Jojo (that's me, aka Aurora, Jo, the narrator, MOSES (SweetSoulX) and JEFF - wanted to jam together! So with the Christmas party nearing we decided we'd provide the entertainment - AND THAT WE DID (hey, who drank all of the booze?!?!?!) on December 22nd, 2006!!! We had such a great time (or at least we think we did!!!) that we wanted to do it again & again!!! And here we are... And now it's a regulaR thing that's mushrooming and it's just FACKING FABULOUS... AND that's how we became AURORA STARRS eXPLOSION!!! .. Oct 26th, 2011 - We're still at it today in our own unstructured kind of way. The interesting part is we never really know what's going to transpire yet it's always original, and at the very least, familiar in a unique kind of way! Being spontaneous encourages us, as well as our audience, to stay present, which keeps the experience fresh! .. Mind you, we are really starting to dig songwriting as well - Gotta explore!! HAVE YOURSELF AN AWESOME MOMENT!! -

ME & MY JAMMIN' BUDDIES: Jojo (aka JT, Jo, Aurora) - that's me--started drumming & spontaneous lyrics/vocals at the same time; used to play guitar yet we needed a drummer so I tried my shot at it and really liked it: I am self taught w/ a little guidance here and there! I also play the harmonica, djembe, tambourine and whatever else I can get my hands on to make sound with!), MOSES (electric/acoustic guitar god, spontaneous vocalist and mixing master) and JEFF (bumping bass guitar babe). Along with the occasional guest musician(s)! .. ALCHEMICAL PROCESSING AT ITS FINEST - 98% OF WHAT WE DO IS COMPLETE IMPROV; RIGHT OFF THE CUFF, MADE UP ON THE SPOT - Music and lyrics! Jammin' is what we do - Spontaneous creativity! However we feel at the time is the type of music we play based on our influences and our own personal flavours!! .. ......WELCOME from ASX...... -
Influences
Much of our music is a culmination of our foremost musical influences integrated with our own personal style! Although you can tell that there's definitely a 60's & 70's hard rock & blues feel to our music, it's hard to pinpoint our sound exactly because our influences span from so many genres. -

Hi Jojo!!I just reponded on my page too! Myspace is so messed up!!!!Now you see me now you don't!!Yeah, it feels wierd being back over here!!
