I have no favorites, but the ones that come to me first are Star Wars, Matrix, Lion King, Dark City, City of God, Rabbit Proof Fence, Whale Rider, Eve's Bayou, Hotel Rwanda, Braveheart, Malcolm X, Hurricane, Memoirs of a Geisha, Croaching Tiger, A Beautiful Mind, Do the Right Thang, What the Bleep, Kill Bill I & II, Golden Child, Boomerang, Coming to America, Requiem for a Dream, Devils Advocate, Love Jones, Boyz n the hood, Menace II Society, Usual Suspects, Crash, Color Purple, What's Love Got to do with it, Pretty Woman, Shawshank Redemption, Batman Begins, Spanglish, Ray, The Incredibles, and can't forget THE SECRET!
Television
I have to admit I do like some reality tv shows... I love seeing people, grow, learn and achieve thier dreams. Top Model, American Idol, Starting Over, Medium, Project Runway, you get the point.
This is the most difficult category by far, I have sooooo many books, I absolutely love reading. Currently most of my books focus on spirituality, religion, healing, self empowerment, intuition, pyschic phenomenan and mediumship, manifestation, crystals, Indigenous cultures, aromatherapy etc. Theres' no way I can list everything, but I like Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Abraham-Hicks, Doreen Virtue, Barbara Brennan, Malidoma Some, Ayi Kwei Armah, Chancellor Williams, Florence Scovel Shinn, James Van Praaugh, Iyanla Vanzant (early books), Queen Afua, Francis Cress Welsing, Course in Miracles, and so much more! My girlfriend keeps asking me to put together a book list for her.
Heroes
My parents, Black people, All revolutoinaries past and present who fight the good fight. My enslaved Ancestors, especially those who fought. Anyone who has the courage to live thier dreams and fulfill thier purpose in life. Those who inspire me to be greater!
