Sorry if you came here expecting songs, however we were spammed along with many other music sites and Myspace cannot get our music player and gig guide back.

We decided to keep this site open but started another one at http://www.myspace.com/lonnieleemusic where we have the music and show dates etc.

The songs up at the moment are... 'Lonely Nights and Lonely Days','from the romantic ballad album, 'Light of Love'.
'Starlight Starbright' from the 'Definitive Original Collection 1959-1964- Volume 1' album.
and a sample of 'It Takes me back' and 'My Rockabilly Band' from the brand new 'North West Mail' country rockabilly album...
Both of those tell my story.

The 2 for 1 show presents an important part of Aussie Pop music history. Johnnie Ray was the biggest name prior to Elvis and many call him the father of Rock'n'Roll due to his song styling. He had many hits and still holds the attendance records for the London Palladium and the Sydney Stadium even through the Beatle era. His songs remind one of innocence, romance and were the first ripples of the blast to come called Rock'n'Roll. Lonnie sings 24 of these songs in a way.. no one else sings. Lonnie's voice and vocal style is fresh, exciting and unique.

The other part of the show.. The Best of Lonnie Lee , features all his hits of yesteryear and today as well as tributes to his friend Johnny O'Keefe and the rockabilly era in general.

The Leemen do the music and vocal backings. A great band and a great show.
