Austcare is a wholly Australian-based, independent, specialist humanitarian aid and development organisation that is non-profit, non-sectarian and non-political. Since our inception in 1967 we have made measurable and sustainable improvements to the lives of people who have been affected by disaster, conflict or poverty in more than 30 countries.
Austcare supports basic human security and empowers local communities to escape poverty. We specialise in emergency response and preparedness; mine action; the protection of the rights of refugees and internally displaced people; sustainable livelihood recovery; and the prevention of future crises, including peacebuilding.
