I'm pretty critical of music, I'm especially critical of hip-hop (which A LOT of people don't agree with me on), but I feel that the genre in general is just really shallow and materialistic. It seems to me that most mainstream hip-hop artists basically glorify money, consumerism, and materialism... they're also usually very cocky and stuck on themselves... I respect artists with humility. So yeah, I generally can't stand most hip-hop, I know there are artists that aren't like this, but I don't know many who aren't.
