Great Falls Symphonic Choir
The Great Falls Symphonic Choir is composed of an 80-voice symphonic choir. Members of the choir come from Great Falls and surrounding communities as far as 65 miles away. Auditions are held in late August and new members will be notified if a position becomes available.

Great Falls, Montana has two (2) Neighborhood Pools (Jaycee Pool and Water Park Pool) that have been completely re-designed. They have new Pool liners, new splash decks, a dual Water Slides and a spray park attached. Enjoy it all for only $1.50 for ages 6-17, $2.50 for ages 18+, and Under 2 FREE with paying adult (One (1) child per paying adult; $1.00 each additional child). Many of you will be attending your 20 Year Re-Union. Hard to believe how fast time flies. Anyway WELCOME HOME!
You may notice many new improvements since the last time you were here. Great Falls continues to grow and improve each year. Here are just a few changes since you have been gone.
Great Falls Neighborhood Pools have been completely rebuilt to include water slides and a splash park (www.MainStreetGreatFalls.com/pools).
We have added a World Class Skate Park down by the Missouri River. Great Falls has added a ABA BMX Race Track (www.ElectricCityBMX.com) by our huge Softball Complex behind the Holiday Village Mall. Centene Stadium home of the Great Falls Voyagers (White SOX) has been completely redone.
Great Falls built a HUGE soccer park by Malmstrom AFB for soccer games and tourniments. Great Falls is in the Process of building a new Ice Skating (Hockey) Complex.
We are almost done building a new Dog Park down by the Missouri River for the animal lovers.
Rivers Edge trail has been build and now runs along the Mighty Missouri River from Central Ave. West past the Great Falls of the Missouri (Black Eagle Dam), the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and all the way down to Giant Springs.
On the way you will pass the Montana Memorial Wall. Please take the time to honor those who have served for the Freedoms we all enjoy.
We have several new restaurants: Applebee's, Chili's, Tony Roma's, Macaroni Grill, Ricki's Pasta, Mackenzie River Pizza, The Breaks, a New Howard's Pizza (50's Style), and many others.
My favorite places to eat are still:
Bert and Ernie's (www.BertandErnies.com), Taco Treat, Elcomador's, 3-D International, Bar-S, and Howards Pizza.
Several new businesses have come to town. N.E.W., Centene, Cable Technology and others.
There are a variety of new stores and places to shop. Scheel's has taken over the Holiday Village Mall. Big Bear & Big "R" have become BIG. Hastings has grown and moved. The Big Box Stores have moved to town. The Market Place has added a new group of stores, restaurants, hotels and businesses.
The City Golf Courses have been redone.
Great Falls has begun to take pride in their Neighborhood parks. The Neighborhood Parks are becoming a place for the children to hang out and play in once again on new playground equipment.
Check out the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, The Children's Museum, C.M. Russell Art Gallery, Paris Gibson Square, Gibson Park, Giant Springs.
The list goes on and on and on.
Take a drive around the Valley View & River View District. It is hard to comprehind how many new homes and condos have been added. Take a drive around the FOX Farm District, or check out the remodeled Downtown District.
As I said before, Great Falls has seen some major improvements. Many of the people who live here do not notice everything being done. But if you leave for a while or if you are actively involved in your community, you will notice that Great Falls has become and will continue to become "GREAT" Falls.

The Down Pour Festival has been hosted and organized each year by a group of dedicated volunteers.
