Sounds Like
Listen and see for yourself.......Music to your ears. Austin Simmons strives not to be categorized into one certain genre, but instead tries to branch out and give a little something to all audiences and music lovers.
Austin Simmons is an aspiring young artist who refuses to be held back by the boundaries of genre. No matter who is in the audience, everyone will leave with something to take home. Growing up in a small town of Julian, North Carolina, and later moving to King, North Carolina, Austin has had a wide range of musical influence and inspiration ranging from family members and friends to moments in life that he never wants to lose. Most of his lyrics are inspired by a religious background, but Austin delivers his songs in a "wise as a serpent--harmless as a dove" manner and mentality, not preaching in the face of anyone; so through a feeling of acceptance and connectivity, he may deliver his message to an audience of willing listeners. Austin Simmons has played with artists such as Newsong, Fighting Instinct, Nate Sallie, Heather Cox, Akissforjersey, ect. and plans to continue scratching the surface of mainstream music until he leaves a mark. Austin also strives to make his live performances into an experience for the audience to remember...not just another concert. He refuses to be an artist that only sounds good after studio editing and brings much more to the stage than ever could be recorded. So far, his music has drawn people from all walks of life, and Austin strives to continue expanding in entertainment and inspiration with his music to as many as will lend him a listening ear.
