About me: During the 90’s the ISA also sanctioned both a World Grommet Titles and for a short time an ISA Pro Junior Championship [ a pro-junior tour with prize money]. In 2003 the ISA decided to consolidate all ISA junior events into an annual event with the inaugural annual ISA World Junior Surfing Championships being held in Durban, South Africa. Age groups contested are boys under 18 and under 16 years and girls under 18 years. A team result is also calculated from team members places to award the most successful team.
The ISA World Junior Surfing Championships proceedings emulate that of the Olympic format with medals being awarded to all finalists and successful teams.
Australian competitors dominated the decade of the World Grommet Titles and in addition have taken 11 of the 20 individual and team junior world titles contested since 1980.

Thank you for being our friend! The Save the Planet Tour needs all the support it can get. It's going to take all of us to change the world. Let's make it happen together! Aussie's always do it better! I've been down in San Diego in the USA surfing, but I'll be heading back out to Bells Beach this Dec-Jan. Can't wait to surf Bells again. You guys keep up the good work!
