Nachdenkliche und kritische Texte in Kombination mit eingängigen Melodien und Gesang, der zum Mitsingen einlädt, prägen den Charakter der Band. In ihrem Musikstil vereinen sie den Punkrock der späten 90er mit Einflüssen aus Emo und Pop. H-M-B (punkrock) Gegründet 2006 spielten sie einige Gigs unter dem Namen "ZaPPenduster". Auch die ersten 4 Demosongs entstanden im selben Jahr. Wegen musikalischer Differenzen trennte sich die Band friedlich von ihrem Schlagzeuger, dem Kropf. 2007 hat die junge Band begonnen, ihr erstes Album aufzunehmen und der neue Bandname H-M-B wurde gefunden - und mit dem neuen Drummer Gregor schaffte die Band 2008 den Einzug ins Finale des Local Heroes Bandcontest!
