Auteur Theory are a UK based house music duo. Joel and Kev began creating house music together in around 2006. Releasing electronic albums in many styles they draw on their wide influences from many electronic genres to create songs with strong structures and melodies.
Influenced heavily by artists from not only the French Touch wave, but also the more chilled UK equivalents they often create songs that have motives rooted in rock, in electronic disguises.
Although the band was formed as a small project to fill time in between heavy commitments with band Still Existing, after their collapse in mid 2008 Auteur Theory quickly became the sole focus of Joel and Kev's efforts. They have released 2 albums, many singles and EP’s and a hand full of remixes to date.
