About me:

I'm on the left. My hair was so much redder then, I'm browner than that now. Those are my novels on the right. If you'd like to see a short video of my Greenwich Village reading for Holly Would Dream with a cast of Audrey Hepburn-lookalikes, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqb-2iPQdd8

I’ve been a lawyer, an advertising exec, a private school admissions advisor and now I’m a writer. The writer gig is definitely the best. My novels are life-inspired comedies. The Ivy Chronicles is about a woman who starts a business helping rich Manhattanites get their little darlings into the city’s best schools (I used to do that for a living). Wife in the Fast Lane is about a successful NYC wife and mother whose life starts to unravel when she tries to juggle more than is humanly possible (I currently do this in my life). Holly Would Dream is about a woman who is obsessed with Audrey Hepburn and wishes her life could be more like Sabrina or An Affair to Remember (that's me, a romantic fool!). Did I mention you can order my books on Amazon? You can, and you definitely should! Besides my brilliant career, I have two kids, one husband, two cats, and a to-do list that will never get done. Oh well. ..

Who I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet you, of course. So far, I've met some very wonderful people on my space. I wish I'd had this when I was in high school. Maybe then I wouldn't have had to go through years of therapy to get over the pain of those years. Oh wait, they weren't THAT painful. I had a football player boyfriend, but he had a massive rear end, so that kind of negated the glory of it (Gosh, I hope he never reads this, but if he does - Larry, I swear my love for you was far bigger than your butt). Also lessening the pain of high school was the fact that I was the student council president. Oddly, my husband was president of HIS student council. Isn't it weird how student coucil presidents get together and marry? Maybe I can write a book about that - When Student Council Presidents Marry. Have I been spelling council right? Is it council or counsel? That's like principle. I can never remember if it's principle or principal. The way to keep that one straight is to keep in mind that your high school school principal is your PAL. Well, mine wasn't. He ran off with one of my classmates. It was a terrible scandal, as you can imagine. He only had one arm, although he often wore a fake arm with a hook thingie on the end so he could pick stuff up. It was very primitive. The newer ones are much more effective (as far as I know, not that I've gone shopping for one lately, or ever). Wait, what was the question...
