Her fingers raked his butter-soft hair as his mouth moved on her, and she could feel it pressing against the pulse at the base of her throat as in reality now, plus she could feel it then, when it would be tasting her lips, trailing her stomach. Echoing pairs of his hands roamed over her, overlapping time as he unbuttoned her blouse now but grazed her bare flesh then. His whisper shuddered through her. “My God, Glory.” She heard the words, but didn’t need to ask their meaning because she could see it, viewing her own beauty through his eyes in a way she never dreamed when studying her flaws in a mirror.
