I am a member of the National Society of Newspaper Columnists (NSNC), the Horror Writers Association, and founding president of the HWA chapter, Indiana Horror Writers (IHW). I was a member of Romance Writers of America for several years, and founding president of the RWA chapter, Gothic Romance Writers, Inc. ("GothRom"). After everyone else has gone to sleep for the night, there are few things more satisfying to me than leaving the everyday world and going off on a writing adventure. I don't limit my writing to one genre or format, and enjoy reading a variety of authors. It's always a big thrill to discover the work of a talented, new writer. Besides a passion for historical fact or fiction (I'm the family genealogist), I'm also devoted to vintage sci-fi and horror movies (think Universal Monsters), Twilight Zone reruns, all Star Trek series and movies, just about anything with Vincent Price in it, the original Planet of the Apes movies, the Martian Chronicles, the old gothic soap opera, Dark Shadows, and my all-time favorite late-night host, Sammy Terry. Though I now reside in Danville, Illinois, I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, and remain a loyal Colts fan.
