With a trademark sound of lush instrumentation, layers of guitars, ambient synths and soaring melodies; their unique blend of dark edgy pop music has a unique ability to grab your hearts attention. Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Auto Defiance is led by visionary songwriter Bradley Boyer. Powerful songs take you from high-energy anthems to dreamy ballads.
Out June 2009, their self-released EP "Damina's Dream" carries you into a five song mini-melodrama, soaked layers of acoustic and electric guitar with cello, strings and random ambience. Suspended in time and space.. where each song tells a profound story. Adding electronica elements with synthesizers over machine-gun like acoustic guitar, Auto Defiance chameleon-like creation of grandiose rock music is both endearing and inspiring. Co-producing the studio efforts with Sean Giovanni, of James Kennedy Productions, Boyer and co. has pushed the envelope while creating a moment. Many more great things to come from The Auto Defiance.

Acoustic Guitar chugs thru a warm, atmospheric wall of heavy shoegazer guitars al la My Bloody Valentine, while airy female harmonies, errie Cello and Strings answer the chorus in true ghostly fashion. 1st single Debut from the band "Auto Defiance".
