About autodisco

autodisco is a new club night collaboration between two of Scotland's finest underground electronic music imprints deep freeze recordings and mighty robot recordings. musically speaking the nights will be all about tracing the defining sounds and influences on these two labels demonstrating their love of disco, electro, electrofunk, italo, early chicago house, detroit techno, house and nu disco. as well as being an opportunity to showcase the new music and artists featuring on the two labels. residents deejays iamelectron (mrr) and dicky trisco (dfr) plus some very special guests will be at the controls for this journey and through their explorations they hope to forge a new way forward into the future for the machine made funk music they both love.

DJ TEST (Manchester) The man behind STEALTH is notorious for building sets that progress through the full spectrum of drum and bass music right from the mellow liquid side of affairs through to filthy techstep with more than the occasional excursion into experimental territory. TEST deserves huge respect not just for trying to go it alone and push exciting new music that would surely have gone unheard in Dundee but for giving local djing talent a chance to shine (something rarely seen nowadays) DJ JD (London) Made himself an indisposable member of the STEALTH team from his very first set back in April 2006. His enthusiasm for this music knows no limits and this is clearly evident when watching his sets build momentum. JD has the ability to smash any dancefloor with his relentless playlist, his mixing is airtight and the rate of track selection makes most djs look ridiculously lazy, a true showman.
