Richard Sen

The second in the Tribute series comes from the Situation posse. Continuing Tribute’s aim to supply festival inspired battle weapons and club anthems for DJs, ‘We Love Leon’ rips a guitar riff from a rather well known pop band and surrounds it with played Situation-style Balearic goodness and then blends it all together with an ace vocal by Gill Scott Golden. The result is a highly original and stunning melt of sound which has already had big support from DJs like Greg Wilson and which really captures that festival vibe of old.
Cut loud on single-sided heavy weight vinyl, the Tribute series is set to inflict some serious dancefloor damage.
‘Kicked off with this on a number of occasions since the guys gave me a copy earlier in the year. Really love the way it builds before the vocal comes in - sets the tone perfectly!’ Greg Wilson
‘BAGGY end of the night hand-raiser!’ Jim Stanton (Horse Meat Disco)
‘Love the vocals. Really cleverly fused with a Balearic groove. Stomping without the pace...ACE!’ Crazy P
‘BIG HIT ALERT ! I Love This! The Vocal is stunning and the feel of this track is so good. I will play this for sure.’ Marius
