After years of causing chaos and cutting their teeth playing with some of Toronto's most notorious underground bands, the members of AUTOMATIC DUB RIOT have at long last come back to their roots. With the majority of the members having grown up on a (rock)steady diet of The Clash, The Ruts, Stiff Little Fingers, early punk, rockabilly, heavy dub reggae, 2 Tone and early roots ska, the sound of AxDxRx is a decidedly retro vibe fused to a modern musical attack.
The group have been slowly working on their debut album 'COMBAT CITY ROCKERS' for STEREO DYNAMITE RECORDINGS. The album which has become a labor of love for a group of old friends will see the day of light one day soon. No pressure. All passion.
