Automatic Pilot Required por Samuel Skelter
Em 2005, Samuel Skelter começa a fazer música eletrônica no próprio computador, a fim de extravasar sua vontade de tocar rock’n’roll com uma banda, que parecia nunca conseguir formar. No mesmo ano, disponibiliza na TramaVirtual (www.tramavirtual.com.br/automatic_pilot_required) o primeiro disco do projeto, homônimo, no qual praticamente aprendeu a fazer música eletrônica, sozinho. Tudo gravado de maneira caseira, totalmente lo-fi, como todo o material do AxPxRx (como é conhecido) até hoje, cujo nome surgiu após Skelter se ver completamente perdido em meio aos excessos na época. Nos anos seguintes, segue "lançando" (nunca teve nem selo) novos trabalhos, mostrando cada vez mais nítida evolução tanto em termos de criatividade quanto de qualidade técnica. Com novas faixas no MySpace (www.myspace.com/automaticpilotrequired), atrai a atenção de artistas de renome na cena mundial não só de música eletrônica como também de todos os gêneros. Estava na hora de começar a levar a coisa mais a sério. Ou não.

In 2005, Samuel Skelter begins to make electronic music on his own computer, in order to expand beyond his will to play rock’n’roll with a band, which he seemed never able to form. In the same year, provides on TramaVirtual (www.tramavirtual.com.br/automatic_pilot_required) the first record of the project, homonym, on which he practically learned to make electronic music, alone. All recorded in a home-made manner, totally lo-fi, as all the AxPxRx (as it’s known) stuff until nowadays, whose name emerged after Skelter find himself completely lost amid the excesses of that time. In the following years, keeps "releasing" (never had a record label before) new works, showing increasingly clear evolution both in terms of creativity as of technical quality. With new tracks on MySpace (www.myspace.com/automaticpilotrequired), attracts the attention of renown artists on the world scene not only of electronic music but also of all genres. It was time to start to take the thing more seriously. Or not.
