About me:

Auto-Otaku is an ongoing media project/web magazine/blog dedicated to serving enthusiasts of Japanese car culture and everything related to it. We will feature a variety car-related events and unique feature cars from both California and Japan. A full featured site is in development and should launch sometime before the year is up. Auto Otaku is for the passionate Auto enthusiast who enjoys motorsports, circuit days, drifting, zeroyon, time attack, vintage Japanese cars, vans,wagons, vipcars, kei cars, and maybe even a hot rod here and there.

Unless otherwise noted all photos and text were taken by me, Mike Garrett. I am currently a journalism student/aspiring auto journalist. I have found great enjoyment in photographing and writing about automotive topics. I have been around cars all my life, from Muscle Cars to VW's and everything in between I am crazy about Japanese cars. I started this as a project to share my photos and have a place for people who have the same interests as me.
