Biography
Well where to start......one boy had an idea...to throw away an education for beer, loud screeching noise and women, 2 other boys shared a similar idea...., they joined forces in non superheroic style but needed a name.....a name that would be chantable, a name that would be simple and easy on the eye...."Father O’Flaherty and the alter boys!" one boy suggested, unfortunately as appealing as that was it had to be declined....many months of ’fierce’ deliberation then followed and through the wonderful use of the oxford english dictionary, ’AutoRun’ was born.
December 2006 and AutoRun played its debut gig, an approximately 80 minute set of original material and a few hilarious cover attempts, a completely drunk set of rockstars and lots of warm bright lights.
Fans left that night witnessing a great gig, chanting ’AutoRun’ and weirdly ’moby dick’.....was an experience to say the least.
We’ve gained a reputation for a being a great live band, for being tighter than your spandex.
We believe we write damn good songs.
We will give you a show to remember.
We are AutoRun and we love it!

" I listened to the very nu-rave Klaxons style “Limelight” featuring a great vocal from Laura Marley, then i delved a little deeper and found the band are more than one dimensional. I was very taken by the ballad “Falling For You”. Its lyrical brilliance is in its simplicity. I love it!

Hey Rory. The gig in the spring is being arranged by bruised fruit so its not up to us who we play with unfortunately. We are playing in the Pavilion in June and ill def keep youse in mind for that. In work at the mo so ill check you guys out when i get home. Cheers buddy Glenn
