Autozamm are carving a niche as one of this country’s best live acts... supporting The Black Crowes, Seether, Powderfinger, Siverchair, INXS, Shihad, The Exponents and Opshop.
Autozamm celebrated the release of their ten-track sophomore album Drama Queen in March 2008.
Drama Queen the album was released on the back of Autozamm’s Top 20 airplay hit Killer Shoes last year. Their recent New Zealand single Closer To Home reached No2 on the NZ Airplay chart.
It also features the latest single, Drama Queen, the band’s first international release, of which lead singer Nick Major says, “I wrote it after getting out of bed on the wrong side one morning…” The accompanying video has also received attention for its animated graphics and sinister undertones.
Recorded and produced at York Street Studios by Clint Murphy, Drama Queen is a diverse selection of tracks. The last single Closer To Home has gained a lot of ground with the adult contemporary market and has seen Autozamm receive exposure on new platforms to a wider audience.
The band have just featured on Australian chart show Video Hits, along with several appearances on C4, MTV, JuiceTV and Good Morning.

To celebrate the release of Their 2nd album “The Orchid Door”, Selon Recliner are sharpening their chopsticks & oiling the Lazy Susan for a Buffet & Show at the classic & infamous New Orient restaurant, where deep in the basement of the Strand Arcade time has stopped still. With a complimentary “Orchid Door” Cocktail on arrival, and the New Orient’s famous Buffet to arouse your appetite, DJ Jimmy Olsen and VJ Grafix will add extra seasoning and get the night spinning. As the tastes settle and ambience is absorbed the bamboo curtain will pull back on The Orchid Door as Selon Recliner take over the old parquet dance floor.
