So I do everything on the music side and web side. Any page you stumble upon I did everything on. Layout was from scratch. With music maybe I'll get some advice or help from friends, but it's pretty much all me at the moment, I'm looking forward to maybe starting a band and actually recording professional music, but for now I just write it.
I was thinking of making a more personal MySpace where people can actually find me, but the only reason I made a MySpace in the first place was to advertise music, so if you're more personal than just a fan (if you guys even exist), better luck catching me on Facebook instead.
Influences
Most of the 90s punk and emo bands. Some bands that really influenced me are Blink-182, Avenged Sevenfold, Brand New and From First to Last (to name a few). But what really has interested me is some of the short lived 90s emo bands such as caP'n Jazz, Indian Summer, I Hate Myself, and others from that era. But I don't specifically follow a certain band's sound, but sometimes a song will inspire me to write one myself.
Sounds Like
I don't know why there's this section, I try to make my music my own and sound like my own style. I'm not trying to copy and bands so I can't really tell you what it sounds like.
Just a kid born in New York, raised in Southern California, got a guitar and taught myself to play, nothing too special but I can't seem to make it any more interesting than that.
If you care for specifics, I was born in New York, but moved when I was about 3. Moved down to Orange County, then LA County, then back to OC where I mainly grew up and remember most of my childhood in an old town house. Then I moved to Jordan where my family is from for about three years, bought an acoustic which is now trashed, I've been practicing on that for about 2 years now because I've been pretty poor, but I moved back down to Southern California for my last 2 years of high-school, and I'm planning on getting a decent electric guitar, amp and a weekend job for gear money.
So far I've recorded an EP, 2 albums, and am working on a 3rd album and a B-Sides of just random tracks I recorded and never put on an album. All of which is in just a year, nothing really serious just recording things on my computer at home and putting MP3s together which I somehow call "music".
well thats school :P haha well, im just really confused and everything, with trying to figure out which classes to take.. but other than that its ok i guess. :)
