I look back at my life and wonder how I ever got here.
At the ripe old age of 2, my grandfather would pack me up in his car and take me to his gospel "singin's". He put me up on a piano to sing a couple of numbers for the folks in the churches. After college, I was the main vocalist and lyricist for an all original rock band. This experience opened the door for writing. Note that I do not believe myself to be some prodigy at writing, but I've improved. A manager picked me up when he heard my original band, and I then I recorded an album at the world famous FAME studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Now, I am the co-owner of a fine clothing store in Huntsville, Alabama, called Aslan Apparel, and I play with different bands while working on my own projects. If you would have told me 10 years ago that I would now be married to the most wonderful man in the world, be able to write and record my own music, and own my business, I would suggest you visit your shrink. It's funny...God has a way of leading without you even knowing it.
Indeed it is. The "other" man in my life ;-) Miss you too! Sorry I'll miss tonight, but Stephen will be home next week and all should be back to normal...or what we like to consider "normal". Maybe I'll see ya Sunday? We'll have friends in town from our Chattanooga church. Should be fun!

By the time I talked to Mom, emotions and tiredness had taken over me. Yesterday was a very long and grueling day. Today has been very tiring. I finally finished painting the bedroom. Now I got to put up the king-sized bed!!! I'm REALLY excited about the bed!!!
