BIOGRAPHY IN ENGLISH:

Hi,
we are  the " Autumn Leaves ".
We come from Turin,Italy and we are a progressive/rock/metal band with  a feminine voice. The Autumn Leaves were created in 2002 after the dissolution of the previous band the "Night Dreamers",BUT THE PRESENT LINE-UP WAS CREATED ONLY IN 2007. The band is composed of Michela on vocals ,Marco on guitar, Claudio on bass, Fabio ..boards and Alessandro on the drums. We have had many positive reviews (also American).We wrote and dedicated a song "IN MY PAST" for an Italian soccer team,TORO. We had the honor to participate at the inauguration of Villa Claretta, the seat of the Historical Museum of Torino and Toro, to receive praise from President Urbano Cairo,by the forward Rosina and by the fans that were at the party.Our song "Morgana" is still playing on the radio of the Piedmont but the prettier thing is to listen to our music abroad & to know it's very very appreciated:))) yaaaaaay We are very proud & really happy to share our way with you all & to let you know that our music is on these radio:) ...:

April 8, 2008 we were also "The Artist of the Day" to CANADA!:)) During the performances we play our songs and sometimes some covers "Toto,Queen,Stratovarius,Cranberries ,Nightwish,Talisman, Dream Theater etc" with high energy and various solos. We hope to introduce the entire world to our music and to express our emotions also to you....

The Autumn Leaves are a band of Turin that play a progressive rock, with notable metal insertions and a strong feminine voice.The band is 4 musicians that can be listened to by going on their site.  Morgana sings like a sweet ballad whereas the voice of Michela dominates the stage. They are well partnered in the choruses for perfect harmony. The song is original and well played as to give the listener heartfelt emotions.  The acoustic interval is very pleasing. The Awake reflects a lot of the precedent, it's also very well interpreted from the voice of Michela that after a slow and sweet introduction goes with skill to the prog of the second part of the piece. Alessandro does an excellent job of maintaining the mood of the song, by being subtle during the slow parts and rocking out during the metal parts .  SimeD is a step in the forward direction, by making the prog-ballad a valuable creation.  This song is very well connected  and it's the best one of four for my musical tastes. Final Dissonance is the most metal song and it reminds me a lot of  the progressive and experimental PFM. Autumn Leaves music proves that Italy has talent and plays good music. I heard their disk and I can say really they play very well.They succeed to be original and expressive at the same time. I am sure that if they will continue to play in this way,we will soon hear much more about them. Great job Autumn Leaves!

Ciao a tutti,
siamo gli Autumn Leaves,veniamo da Torino e proponiamo progressive/rock/metal con voce femminile.
Gli Autumn Leaves sono nati nel 2002 dopo lo scioglimento della precedente band i "Night Dreamers",MA L'ATTUALE LINE-UP SI E' FORMATO SOLTANTO NEL 2007. La band è composta da Michela alla voce,Marco alle chitarre,Claudio al basso,Fabio alle tastiere e Alessandro alla batteria.Abbiamo ricevuto molte critiche positive (anche Americana).....abbiamo scritto e dedicato una canzone (IN MY PAST) per una squadra di calcio italiana (TORO)....abbiamo avuto l'onore di partecipare all' inaugurazione di Villa Claretta (nuova sede del Museo storico di Torino e del Toro)....e di ricevere complimenti dal Presidente Urbano Cairo,dall'attaccante Rosina  e dai fans presenti alla Festa. La nostra canzone "Morgana" tutt'ora viene trasmessa nelle radio del Piemonte,ma la cosa più bella & appagante è sapere che il nostro sound è molto apprezzato anche all'estero:)))yaaaay Siamo molto orgogliosi & veramente felici di condividere con voi il nostro cammino & di farvi sapere che la ns musica è sulle seguenti radio:) ..:

Gli Autumn Leaves sono un gruppo di Torino che suona un prog/rock molto variopinto, con notevoli innesti metal e una voce femminile davvero di ottimo spessore. Quelli che andiamo a recensire sono 4 pezzi che possono essere tranquillamente ascoltati andando sul loro sito. Si parte con Morgana, dolcissima prog ballad dove la voce di Michela domina la scena ed è molto ben accompagnata da un azzeccatissima scelta di cori e armonie. Il pezzo è davvero originale e ben suonato dagli Autumn Leaves che riescono a trasmettere all'ascoltatore belle emozioni. Carino l'intermezzo acustico. The Awake rispecchia molto la precedente, anch'essa molto ben interpretata dalla voce di Michela che dopo un intro lento e dolce passa con bravura al prog della seconda parte del pezzo. Ottimo uso della batteria che non risulta mai essere troppo presente nelle parti lente e che Alessandro dosa al meglio negli episodi più metal. Un passo in avanti lo facciamo in SimeD struggente prog-ballad davvero di pregevole fattura. Tutto il pezzo è molto ben legato e risulta essere a mio avviso il migliore dei quattro. Final Dissonance, la più metal, mi ricorda molto la PFM più progressiva e sperimentale. Le canzoni degli Autumn Leaves non aggiungono niente al panorama prog-rock odierno ma servono comunque da esempio per chi dice che in Italia non si suona buona musica. Loro lo fanno, e ascoltando il disco posso dire che lo fanno anche molto bene, riuscendo ad essere originali e espressivi allo stesso tempo. Sono sicuro che se continueranno a suonare così sentiremo presto parlare di loro. Bravi Autumn Leaves!
