First day of Recording completed! Things sound good so far, and you can check out what happened in the videos done by the wonderful Chris.
Songs Confirmed for Demo! The two that will be recorded are 'Legacy' and 'Bite The Hand That Feeds' both are heavy and definitley metal. Watch out for the songs hitting the myspace in the next week or so!
AvArice Announces new Drummer!
We have a new member of the band. Tom (yes another Tom) has previously been in Method91 and we are happy he has joined the crew! So listen out for him ripping it up on the skins for the new demo!
2 tracks have been confirmed for the upcoming demo the first has been entitled 'Legacy' and the second still has yet to be named, both of them in keeping with the AvArice sound of old but with trademarks of the new lineup!
As of 2008 Avarice have been practicing hard and preparing themselves for recording a new demo, which is aimed to be done mid September and being released shortly afterwards, so watch this space!
AvArice were originally formed in Horsham @ Daniel Whittakers Barn round the back of his house in late 2004, they played a handful of gigs and wrote a few songs but never really got anywhere, although the experience learned was taken and used in other projects the members of Avarice decided to undertake after their split in early 2006.
Tom and Chris stayed in touch and towards the end of 2006 and decided that some of the material left over should be put to good use, so they arranged to try and start something up again in the new year.
2007 came and so Chris and Tom both went about making plans for a new band, Alex and Juff were brought into the fold (both had previously jammed with Avarice) and they discovered after their 1st practice together as a band on the 15th of March 2007 was extremley succesful, seeing as 1 half of the old Avarice are in this new lineup it has been seen as fitting to keep that title, for now.
