Aldo (drums) and Marc (bass) have been playing together since '89. Various music projects ranged from months to years until '96, when Marc moved far enough to make a regular schedule difficult to maintain.

Very early in 2000, weekly Blue Humor "therapy" sessions began again. Hours and hours of mostly bass & drum tracks were recorded. Occasionally, keyboards or guitar tracks would be overdubbed, but the tracks were very straight-forward and simple.

Early Avec Delay recordings were done at Aldo's condo. It was clear after the first session that this could work. Matt (guitar) added a dynamic that was missing from the basic tracks. Although all sides brought a lot of experience and material to the group, we kept everything pretty loose and many of the best songs were first (and sometimes only) takes.

Charging through 2003, sessions were held in Matt's garage to gain a perspective of how the music sounded live and in Aldo's condo for the direct, "cleaner" recordings. Marc bought a house in 2003 where most of the recordings between late 2003 and early 2007 were done.

During these years, hours and hours were recorded. What's available online here are some of the recordings from our stu-stu-studio time at Camelot.

Everyone's schedules have blown up. In 2007, Marc moved to Houston and then in 2008, to Novato, CA (what a dick).
