there was nobody like The Rev... I think that on February 10, 2010 we listen to nothing but A7X and Pinkly Smooth. February 10 is national "Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan Day"!! I was heartbroken when i found out i can't imagine how the guys must feel after this. All i can say is don't stop playing! Jimmy would want you to keep going! Finish the 5th album in honor of him! R.I.P. Jimmy you will be missed by all as an inspiration and an amazing drummer. When we hear the roar of thunder at night we'll know thats you playing your kickass solos!!! We love you Jimmy!!!

The Rev will be truly missed . but he is in a better place. And we need to let him rest. To A7X, I wish the best for the band, and i wish i couldve got to see him live at least once. =(
I can't explain what went through my mind when I heard the news. A7X has been my favorite band ever since I first heard them. When I first heard the news I didn't believe it but then I came here and saw the blog post... I'm not afraid to admit that I cried when I found out that it was true that he's actually gone. One of my life's goals, one of my greatest dreams, was to meet the entire band that inspired me to become a musician. Now it seems that my dream can never be accomplished. It's not fair. You guys are the last band that deserved this. You are a REAL band. You are a bunch of best friends playing music that YOU love and you don't give a shit if people don't like it. When you changed the way you sounded I stuck with you like all of your true fans did and I'm sticking with you now just like all of your true fans are. i remember the first time i heard "We Come Out at Night" and thought what an amazing drummer! James Owen Sullivan you were an amazing drummer and you will be missed so much! im so very sorry for your loss :( i love the rev and i will miss him so much. my thoughts and prayers are with you guys.
RIP Jimmy. monday the world lost a friend, brother, and the greatest drummer in the world.. we all love you Rev. I personally idolized him along with everyone in A7X. The band will never be the same. And to Matt, Zacky, Brian, and Johnny, whether or not you guys decide to make more music know that you are the gratest band to ever create music and nobody else can compare.

they say the good die young. well the slogan should become the best die young. my 13 year old friend ryan henneman was killed in an accident, in which the bed of a truck full of gravel fell on him, crushing him. the rev was the most amazing drummer ive ever heard. i actually cried when i heard of his death. i listened to the entire avenged sevenfold album twice to focus on his drums. r.i.p. hey guys wanted to say im sorry for the loss. you guys have been my all time favorite band since i was 12 and the biggest reason that ive gotten so serious into music myself. Ive always grown up wanting to be jus like u guys up on stage. this feb. when i turn 18 first thing im doin is gettin a deathbat tattoo with a tribute to The Rev around it.
