Avenue N Guitars was founded by Chicago-based musicians and takes its name from an actual street on the East Side of Chicago, from a time when things were a little simpler and slower paced.
It also refers to North Avenue, where the store resides, in the heart of the historic Wicker Park/Bucktown area, one of Chicago's most well-known artistic communities.
