Coming from a state where livestock still outnumbers people, Avery refuses to let that stop them from rising to the next level. Forming in early months of 2007, Avery got its start playing acoustic sets at local coffee shops. Once the band was able to fill all the positions, they became the six member band they are today. Jon, Chad, Brent, Tim, Noah, and Justin spent the next months writing and preparing for the bands first album. Released under Green Sheep Record’s Avery’s first album “Reaching for the Fall” showcased the band’s promising future. Blending haunting vocals with catchy guitar riffs, Avery has managed to discover a blossoming formula for song writing.
In the future, Avery hopes to continually challenge themselves in their songwriting, anticipating maturation in their music. Booking their own shows, they travel to cities pouring themselves out during their sets to anyone willing to listen.

so, every time i think of the show on Saturday, I get a little more upset that I'm missing it... it's actually pretty much ruining my week. BUT - I get to see you all FRIDAY, so I guess that gives me a little something to look forward to...!
that's lovely. whenever I'm down or bored at school, I usually sit down and write a poem or some lyrics. Writing just has always been something I've loved to do and something I've been good at.
Here's a poem I wrote a few months ago.
A Love For People
I am surrounded by beautiful people.
People unaware of their beauty,
People that mean so much to me...
I don't want to lose,
Anyone to the cruelties of the world,
Some are already lost in those woods,
I may not be able to save them all,
But I can try
I am surrounded by beautiful people
People so beautiful,
As beautiful as the rain and lovely little waterfalls
Today, I went shopping in a different town, and at the Hot Topic I went to they had To Write Love On Her Arms shirts in stock!!! In the town I live in, I've only seen TWLOHA shirts at the Hot Topic once and there had only been two, and every other time I went again, they didn't have any. So at the mall I was at, I had been sort of sad....self-esteem issues, mainly because of how I look (my weight), and while my family ate some food I went to the Hot Topic, I hadn't felt like eating, I was planning on not eating. At the Hot Topic, I found they had the shirts in stock. I was so happy. It made my day. After several months of wanting one, I bought one today. I was even hugging the plastic Hot Topic bag at the mall. I was SO happy. It made my whole day a thousand times better. When my family got back from shopping, I put on the shirt. I'm wearing it now. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I haven't even washed it yet. I am just so happy and thankful I was able to get it. It's comforting. My family went to see a movie tonight, and we are lving in a hotel right now, and when we got back from the movie a little bit ago, as I was walking in the hotel parking lot, ahead of my parents, I looked across the street at the hospitals, and whispered to myself "I'm helping people like them, I'm helping people like me." and the story that's on the inside of the shirt was reciting its self in my mind. Hope. Healing. The Future...
