Justin Hartke
Bass - Justin invented the bass amp. Well cushioned from the aforementioned invention, Justin spends most of his time watching MYTHBUSTERS, wondering what's under Jamie's mustache. According to the heavy metal band Point of Contact, Justin "looks like he'd be blown over by a gust of wind."
Kyle Larson
Drums - Kyle enjoys drumming because his drum kit has 'lots of parts.' Kyle also reads large books by Russian authors. According to the heavy metal band Point of Contact, Kyle "looks like a drummer in a metal band."
Holly Muñoz
Vocals and Guitar - Holly misses her grandfather, Carl and her cat, Murry. According to the heavy metal band Point of Contact, Holly sounds, "silky."

The songs on Until We Hear From Dave share a spookily cinematic quality, artfully arranged and often quite beautiful... -- Christopher Bahn, The Onion A.V. Club --
Combining the noisy pop of Sonic Youth with the eerie nihilism of The Cure, singer/guitarist Holly Muñoz lays down meaty Crazy Horse-like riffs while vocally ranging in style from the breathiness of the Cocteau Twins to the sharp bite of PJ Harvey. -- HowWasTheShow.com --
The indies might not be deeply investing in market research but each band's success seems to be a case study for big labels...such news can be empowering for music elitists. Finally, we would have a voice. We could evangelize and be responsible for getting Ted Leo on the radio. Or, we could finally get that trio from Minneapolis, Aviette signed with a label. -- Julie Simmons, Harp --
One of the best bands to come from the Twin Cities. This is an amazing album and an amazing group. Compelling beats, powerful chord progressions and singer Holly Muñoz's enchanting voice combine to make an exciting, airtight album. Creative and versatile, this record is a necessary addition to any music library. -- iTunes --
Playing progressive and accessible indie rock, Aviette is Minneapolis-based band made up of Holly Muñoz (guitar/vocals), Justin Hartke (bass), and Kyle Larson (drums). Their debut record, Until We Hear From Dave (2007), was recorded with Chicago-based engineer Jonathan Raymond and producer Devon Bryant (Sybris, Crush Kill Destroy, Brighton MA, Scotland Yard Gospel Choir). Until We Hear From Dave was CMJ’s 18 add and has charted at core stations such as KALX, WRSU and WTCC. Aviette is currently working on their next record with Minneapolis-based producer Darren Jackson (Tapes n’ Tapes, Kid Dakota, The Hopefuls).
Hey thanks for the add! I like your tunes and I even saw you play at the Turf Club several moons ago with (I think) the illustrious Martin Devaney / Friends plus Joanna James who was also illustrious. Killer line-up, killer night...
Can I just tell you how much I totally adore you guys??!! That show last weekend was one of the funnest yet. Thanks for making it such a great night; we'll have to do it again sometime. All the best and can't wait to see you play again! Big l
