there's "Christine" - all the lyrics came from grafiti written on the back of the toilet door in the thirsty scholar, it was all recorded in our bathroom (with the exception of the drums), so in homage to that the track kicks off with the sound of our toilet flushing - Minto-Smashtastico!! - has been described as sounding like "a rhinososaurus on steroids"
and
"Pour Me" - much more twinkly and prety than christine, more in line with what your used to from the doris boys and girls - this song is our epic "post-rock" (yea right!) set closer - its very nice...
keep an eye out for more tunes in the new year cos were int studio over christmas recording 3 new songs, which is terribly exciting!!
so we probably wont see you till january 2008, so have a loverly christmas and a cracking new year! get very pissed and eat far too much food and we wil see you soon
