I may have confused you guys when I said I was going on vacation. NO, the distro is not closed for the summer, I just went to NY for a week and spent some time on the couch reading some zines.

If you check out the SHOP section of the distro, you will see a new '24 Hour Zine Distro' section set up. This is where donated items will go to help raise funds for this years 24 Hour Zine Thing, taking place during the month of July. Check it out!

And also, 50% off all sales during the month of June, July, and August will go to the Cayce Castelow Memorial Scholarship Fund for St. Pius X School in Norfolk, Va. Cayce was a friend of mine who lost her life in a horrible car crash a couple of weeks ago, and the scholarship fund was set up by our middle school to honor her. Any other donations for this cause would be greatly appreciated.

And lastly, to celebrate the 1 year birthday of Avocado Tree Distro, we have some special surprises coming up for the next two months, so stay tuned!

I know I haven't updated the site in awhile, I've been so incredibly busy with school and such. But the summer is near and I'm ready to get a lot done with the distro. Our print catalogue should be printed within the next two weeks, and I'm hoping to be putting out some of my own zines this summer.If you would like to submit your zine for consideration, now would be the perfect time, as I will be going on vacation during the summer and will need some reading material. I also write reviews for some zines, so if you would like to have your zine reviewed, submit those as well! I'm trying to open the stock up more, and am in desperate search of art zines, DIY zines, and anything really interesting.

Plans for the move have changed, and the distro will be closing on Friday, December 8th instead of the 15th. Be sure to place all orders before Friday, as Monday will be the last day orders will be sent out. [All orders must be through paypal]

Avocado Tree Distro will be closing December 15th for the holidays, until further notice. During that time, I will be moving to Va, so when I get a new PO Box is when we will be open again.
