About Avolition

Avolition is a rock band from the Inland Empire. Forming in early 2008 with the addition of Adrian Smith, singer Cameron Wayland and drummer Adam Gort had been on an exhaustive 7 year search for the right bass player to complete the band's sound. Two demos have been recorded and a handful of shows accomplished, world domination is soon within our grasp.

I really like the direction we're taking, but then again I always have, which is why I joined up with you lot to begin with. Remember that stupid dancer guy from that Mighty Mighty Butttones thing? If my arms fell off and you had to find some other bassist, I would totally be that dude for ya'll. THE DANCING GIMP, I AM.

Uncle Asshat	Jul 15 2008 11:19 AM You know, I'm still not even on The Drummer's friend list because he won't add me, and I have to know his email address and last name to add him, but when I input them, it says DENIED, just like when I tried to play Stairway last week at Guitar Center. I can't believe it! Anyhow, reason I'm bitching now is because I'm trying to write our bio, and how am I supposed to include anything about him if I can't even view his MySpork?
Sarah	Jul 12 2008 9:29 AM I think a press kit is a great idea and the next step for you guys. I would love to help keep Kinkos in Bizness as well and I would be willing and happy to help. The show last night was great and it was well worth it.
Uncle Asshat	Jul 11 2008 10:52 AM I think after this weekend, since it looks like we have a gap in shows for a spell, we should work on a press kit. I have some ideas, and I figure if we throw together some schtick, a good looking CD-R demo with a real sticker on it, some AWESOME photography from our ranks, and like, I dunno, a few flavoured condoms, we'll be set. If not, well at the very least we'll have kept Kinkos in bizness for another week.

Other than paying me a big compliment by saying he likes bass-driven bands, and the advice to never forget that rock n' roll is nothing without the bass, "even the Rolling Stones forgot that eventually," he said we reminded him of Cream and that we have a lot of places to go on our journey.
