I've been singing since I could talk, played keyboard through primary school and intermediate, then started playing guitar in highschool where I also had vocal training. When I was about 14-15 everything joined forces and I began writing songs (which probably was prompted by some compulsary compositions for my music class :-P) It's something I really enjoyed and continued to develop (and still continue to develop). I went on to Excel School of Performing Arts to do a Vocal Major and Guitar Minor in order to give substance to this passion that was welling up inside of me. I can't imagine who I would be without it. I hope to invade a little space on a cd store shelf in the not too distant future ;-). ..So anyway, have a listen, leave a comment, make my day! ..

Where do you begin! When I was a kid I liked things such as Michael Jackson, the Monkees, the sound track from Grease, No Doubt, Pink Floyd. I think the first cd I ever owned was Celine Dion and my dad gave it to me. The first cd I ever bought for myself was Hanson. Growing up in church the songs you sing and come to love has a great influence on you. NZ music: OP SHOP, BROOKE FRASER, Shooting Stars, Eight, Goldenhorse... Sixpence None the Richer, Plumb, SWITCHFOOT, JOHN MAYER, U2, COLDPLAY, Mae, Cool Hand Luke, Bleach Relient K.... Then there's some classic heroes of songwriting that we must acknowledge, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkle, Sting, The Beach Boys...
