About Awaiting The Apocalypse (BOOK US OR DIE FROM RAPE)
Awaiting the Apocalypse is a band rising from the suburban bowels of Roseville California. Bringing melodic riffs, razor sharp solos, in your face breakdowns, and a middle finger to those who defy them. Formed late in the summer of 2005 by Tyler Edwards(vocals) and Marcos Silva(rhythm guitar), the two had one vision in mind, to make the most brutal music possible that still had a groove that anyone could get into. With ____________ on bass and Evil Jim Boots on drums, _____________ on lead guitar, the vision of A.T.A. is becoming a reality. Since 2005, Awaiting the Apocalypse has been devastating stages ranging from Eureka to San Jose leaving nothing but smoldering ashes and a wake of new fans with each performance. Some of the venues left in ruin are The Boardwalk, Humboldt Brewery, 12 Galaxies of San Francisco, The Gaslighter, Shady Bradys, On The Y, The Field, The Kennel Club, The Underground, Club Retro and proud to be the first metal band to grace the stage of Hard Rock Cafe in Sacramento. Awaiting the Apocalypse was invited to compete in Your Music Magazine and 98 Rock's 1st and 2nd Annual Rock Wars. A.T.A. was also voted second best in the Bay Area via internet polls to move onto the Bodog Battle of the Bands. Now that A.T.A has a line up of four(we need a fifth) equally determind idividuals you can only expect great things to come. Whether you're listening to their music or witnessing the raw power that is their live show, A.T.A. brings a sound and intesity that Sacramento has been without for too long. It is time to prepare, because the Apocalypse is coming...

Its going to be a busy week for Idekay. First off we we just posted two new songs of our upcoming album "The Bitter Cold" and The Calming Begins" so make sure you check them out and post that shit to your page and tell all your friends to check them out as well. Second we are playing Jack Ketch's return show this Sunday at the Fire Escape in Citrus Heights. It is a ALL AGES show and only $5 . We hope to see all our Sacramento Area friends out with us.
Then this coming Tuesday we are going to be taking on our really good friends Anti-Panti in the first round of BAR24's Battle of the Bands. We need your support more than ever. So remember this coming TUESDAY NOVEMBER 10th be there and cheer on both bands .
Then last and certianly not least Idekay will be opening for Divine Heresy (Featuring Dino from FEAR FACTORY and Tim Yueng from NILE) FRIDAY NOVEMBER 13TH for our first show at the New Oasis.
