Band Members	Hans Mom; plays the bass. His musical experience takes over 30 years. His band had a lot of different musicians over the years and 9 years ago he invited Silvia to broaden the possibilities in symfo prog cover songs. Silvia (SilvieBB) is the lead singer of this band. A bit shy at first she now develloped a strong voice and while looking for a new direction for the band she came up with the name 'AWAKENING' after her own near death experience. Antal Nusselder joined next and plays keys with a lot of emotion. By this time the three of them formed a solid basis for the band and now were looking for a drummer who matched their ideas. Arjan Bos came along and was the perfect drummer to accompany them on this musical journey called 'AWAKENING'. When he gets into his music you can here the thunder of the gods. Ad Aubri last but certainly not least he came along and plays the lead guitar. His love for a good strong profound solo (which takes you to the end of the world and back again) takes 'AWAKENING' to the next level.

Sounds Like	All of the above. Symfonic, proggresive rock is music that takes you on a journey. You will hear highs and lows and after experiencing this kind of music you will never be the same!

I'm doing two shows.......Leiden at Qbus on Thurs, Jan. 24th....and Ospel on Friday, Jan. 25th at Cafe De Prins.
