AWAKEN are a UK based band that perform the classic and timeless music of YES. The band comprises of a group of highly talented and experienced individuals who have a love and deep respect of YES music. Band members have all left their individual mark on the music scene in a variety of projects including work with Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Peter Banks, Fish, Marillion, Voyager, Don Airey, Bernie Marsden's Alaska and more. Max Hunt, Robert Illesh and Tom Dawe have years of combined experience performing classic YES music having worked together in Europe's premiere YES tribute Fragile for the last 6 years, performing in the UK, Belgium, Holland and Switzerland including the series of now legendary shows with Steve Howe in 2005,6 & 7.
The band are currently in rehearsal working on a set of defining classic YES music and plan to be on the road by early Summer. We'll have more audio samples on this myspace and a full website online soon.
