Away From Eden is a Youngstown, Ohio based rock band that was formed in the early summer of 2006 by Johnny Grahovac and Mike Ezzo. The band's name was derived from the psychological, rather than the spiritual analogies pertaining to the Garden of Eden. After an opportunity to play with National Recording Artists "Hinder" in the late summer of 2006, the members of Away From Eden realized their potential. In 2008 they made a few changes in their line up of members and now the current four members have become devoted and dedicated to mastering their art. The band consists of Johnny Grahovac (guitar, lead vocals), Lou Ligoure, (bass guitar, backup vocals), Mike Ezzo (drums) and lead guitar player John Johnson. The variety of depth and styles that each member brings to the band, gives Away From Eden a progressive, pop-rock sound with a melodic, metal edge, leaving you wanting more. The music is innovative and creative, with heavy chord progressions, powerful lyrics,shredding yet soulful guitar solos, and complex drumming. A band that is not afraid to break the chains that modern radio has set forth, Away From Eden allows their music to speak fluently and freely to the general public, offering the best music they are capable of.
