About awayfromnow

awayfromnow are a Melbourne (Australia) based melodic hardcore band. awayfromnow have released three EP's: How the Beau Monde Breathe (2001), Shadows Allude Invade (2002) and Sic Semper Tyrannis (2003). A five way split was released (2004) with Miles Away, Perish the Thought, Hi End Audio and the Amitty Affliction. 2005 sees the release of awayfromnow's debut album BLACKOUT containing 12 songs. Having supporting such bands as Hot Water Music, Rise Against and Strike Anywhere awayfromnow have over 5 years, maintained a steady routine of playing and recording across the country. June 17th 2006 sees awayfromnow's final show. A big thanks to everyone who played a role in this band's history.
