About me:
Make plans to attend the annual workshop for the Tulsa Chapter of the Association for Women in Communications. This year's event will focus on using that great expanse we call the World Wide Web. From speakers covering marketing your company online and using social-networking sites like MySpace and Facebook to one-on-one sessions with local Web gurus, this workshop will have it all!
When: Feb. 26, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Where: OSU-Tulsa
Purpose: Encourage communicators to embrace new media and to demonstrate how easy and inexpensive it is to get started.
Topics: Marketing your company online, viral marketing, Web site development, e-marketing, traditional vs. new media, search engine marketing, e-newsletters, social marketing, Web site maintenance.
Cost: $45, non-AWC members; $40, members; $20, students
