AWE formed in Clemson, SC over a harsh winter in the year of our lord 1996. The band broke up several times but ended abruptly for the last time on the eve of their only record release in December of the year 2000. It was comprised of the composite elements William Byrd, Bunkie Conrad, Nathan Leigh, and Jonathan Tate. The city of Clemson bred the desperation that resulted in their brief recorded output.
