Classic Rock, New Rock, Rhythm and Blues, Motown, Jazz, Classical, Indie Rock, Alternative Rock, Fusion, Roots Blues, Contemporary Blues, Country, New Country and anything that resonates with musical notes. I'm amazed at the talent on myspace and in the music industry in general. The craft of songwriting and the creative process is so amazing in all genres. I'm finally starting to understand the Rap movement and I really like Eminem's material, especially the 8 Mile soundtrack. Snoop Dogg is amazing. too. To hear is life experiences played back in his songs is very interesting. I also have great respect for Usher, and Jay-Z. My first exposure to Rap was back in '92 when I signed on to mix a show for Maestro Fresh Wes. It was like discovering a new country and language. I was scared shitless, however the crew and his manager were very cool and reassured me that I was doing the right thing. Although when they would say, "Turn it up" to the audience I thought it was directed towards me and they were pissed because it may have been not loud enough, needless to say it was already turned up to 12 and I had a small cow trying to convey that if I turned it up anymore it would start to distort, clip and possibly blow out the mains. I got it finally and ended up having a great show. Can't thank Maestro Fresh Wes, Mikey and his crew enough for a great first time experience. Peace, Craig
