Custom Effect Building, Speaker Plans, Music Production
I build custom guitar effect pedals. I'm also into music production. Having worked in the music/theater industry for a number of years, I have an understanding of the business and the needs of the artist.
Some of the folks I've worked with are: Michelle Wright, Three Dog Night, Uriah Heep, Van Halen, The Mama's and Papa's with John Phillips and Scott McKenzie, Brenda Lee, B.J. Thomas, Great Big Sea, Sloan, Skydiggers, 54-40, Grapes Of Wrath, Lava Hay, Carroll Baker, The Band with Rick Danko, Garth Hudson, Levon Helm, B.T.O/Randy Bachman, Doug and The Slugs, Mick Taylor, Honeymoon Suite, Kim Mitchell, Beatlemania, Musical theater with Mary Wilson and Joyce Dewitt, Tommy Hunter, Maestro Fresh Wes plus many other film and tv personalities.
My duties included but not limited to; stage management, sound technician, lighting technician, technical director, production manager, opening act musician, or one of many hats needed when involved in the "biz" as they say.
Some of my claims to fame are, work in a feature film "This Is My Life" with Dan Ackroyd and Julie Kavner. My lighting skills were included in one of the scenes in the "venue". The music video "Welcome To My Life" with The Michael Patrick Band. Our video was in medium to full rotation in the late 80's on Canada's music station Much Music. Voice over in the theater play "It Had To Be You" with Eddie Mekka (Carmine from Laverne and Shirley) I was the voice of the unseen producer in the booth. Plus a few radio and tv appearances promoting shows.

THE MICHAEL PATRICK BAND-ALIVE AND WELL 2009

Alive and Well 2009-The Michael Patrick Band released for download at amazon.com music. Do pop into amazon music and choose to listen to our sample tracks to purchase individually or you can purchase the entire EP. We are pleased to have the amazing contributions from Dan McCafferty from Nazareth known for the ballad "Love Hurts" as well as other great songs by Nazareth. Rik Emmett from Triumph played incredible lead and rhythm tracks for us. You know right from the getgo that it's Rik, he pours his heart and soul into his work. Fred Curci from Sheriff and Alias sang on our tracks like we were walking through the Pearly Gates of rock and roll heaven that night in the studio. Here's the way to Amazon.com music: Click Here for Alive and Well 2009 Many, many thanks to all of our friends, fans, radio buddies who play our stuff on the Net, AM and FM radio and any other media that is buzzing around out there...it's a friggin' miracle those invisible waves that carry our music through time and space, without out klonking us on the noggin, melon, the noodle and the armoured crow's nest! We thank all of you who have supported us over the years! Do drop us a line to let us know how you're doing. Warm Regards, MPB Michael and Craig
