A Western Dialogue is an acoustic outfit hailing from Rock Island, IL. Created in 2006, AWD has so far created over a dozen songs, played numerous charity shows, and has lived the American Dream. Playing music for the purpose of expressing complicated emotions, AWD hopes listeners can benefit vicariously through the unchecked, unsolicitated outpouring of real conflic.. that everything has experienced in some way or another. Though the acoustic genre has oftentimes been labeled with derogatory terms such as 'emo', 'pretty boy bands', and 'cry babies', AWD's main goal is to bring a greater appreciation among the Christian and Indie musical communities for the pure, unabated power of acoustic 'emo' rock. AWD feels music is another form of communication of the soul and that if people listen carefully, they can hear their own music resonating in the blotched chords, the harsh vocals, and the beaten melodies.
