After years of being involved with different worship bands
and leading worship within the church, Ben, Caleb, Jared,
and Sam met in college and formed Awestruck in the end of 2005.
The band was formed to bring their personal experiences
to worship and to glorify God with a culterally relevant message of Christ and salvation. With an acoustic rock style, the
band desires to connect and lead others to worship
through their original worship songs.
The band consists of Ben Picker (lead guitar, vocals, and
keys), Caleb Ihrig (bass, vocals), Jared Picker (drums,
percussion), and Sam Chase (lead vocals, acoustic
guitar). Awestruck has been increasing it's fan base and booking a number of shows around the Wisconsin area.
The band continues to develop and grow, taking part in showcases, writing and recording new music, and engaging people in worship around the state. Our desire is to use the gifts, songs, and musical style that God has blessed us with for His glory. With the increasing support and following, we hope to make Awestruck a full-time ministry; sharing our songs, encouraging worship leaders, and developing worship teams within the church.
