Bio:

.. Andy’s passion for music has lead him to write many original songs and learn numerous covers. His inspiration lies mostly in personal feelings, experiences and relationships... Past live work includes: performances at many notable venues.....

ie: Lee’s Palace, The Horseshoe, The Reverb Room, The Rivoli, C’est What!, Amigo’s, Mustang Sally’s, Aunt Bee’s Place, Roxbury’s, Floyd’s Barber Shop, etc... Also many festival appearances (including many return invitations)... Oakville Waterfront Festival ‘95 to ’00, Burlington Sound of Music Festival ‘95 to ‘99, Sheriff of Mayberry Music Fair, Oakville Midnight Madness ’96, several all ages shows, and, of course, the (painfully early) morning ‘BREAKFAST TELEVISION’ appearance... Andy has been in several bands over the years, including a few rock cover bands, a duo and a couple of original projects, “NO REASON” and Andy’s own ….. “MAYBERRY”...

Andy is presently having a blast playing great places like the STUDIO at Hamilton Place, Liberty Bistro, Free Times Cafe, C'est What!, the Moonshine Cafe, CJ's Cafe, Sarah's, Fitzgerald's, Dave's, the West Town Bar, the West End Pub, Ceileh House, Hugh's Room, Flyers Cafe, Bohemian Fridays, the Waltz Live....., Private functions and parties, Toronto Roots Festival (2010), the Winter Folk Festival (2010 & 2011), Bronte Autumn Festival (2010), Hamilton Guitar Association, Kitchener Peace Festival (2010 & 2011 and numerous other fun venues...

And meeting many very talented musicians, some of whom offered their talents to help with tracking the new album. A few fine musicians who have contributed....Ray Lyell (vocal coach), Mark Kelso (drums), Russ Boswell (bass), Frank Koren (guitars), Phil Kane (guitars & flute), Lawrie Ingles (keys), Alvin Lapp (drums), Noah Zacharin (guitars), Ray Farrugia (drums), Steve Didunyk (piano, accordion) and Astrid Young (backing vocals). Andy is having a great time getting to know some awesome people. :-)

Andy sings lead vocals and plays guitar. The music he performs is pop rock with a touch of folk/country! And occasionally, for the right audience, childrens music. He enjoys many different styles of music. Bands such as The Beatles, The Stones, Tom Petty, The Verve and Crowded House to name but a few...

The main focus of his effort is to enjoy the moment........ And his energy and enthusiasm projects out to the audience. Audience participation is welcome and encouraged. Andy can perform solo but prefers to share the stage with special guests and talented friends. With the many talented musicians Andy knows, he is able to put together a super group in the form of a duo, trio or full band ..... depending on what the situation calls for. Flexibility is the key! What ever the case, it's always a good time!

The new album 'LOOKING AT A LIFE' was released on Sept 24-11 at the STUDIO at Hamilton Place.
