Yeah .....Myspace has been rather ill tempered lately !! The Alberta St Pub .... What a killer show that was!! There was nothing to keep me from getting out to that performance!!
As for The video clips from last week ....They are all posted here on myspace as well.... This one was the raw footage from the "dink" since I ran out of film on the main camera. No effects or alterations were added....the lighting really did look like that !! hahaha
You are very welcome, dahlink!! I cannot wait to get back out and start taking pics again. I'll have a few opportunities in the near future! I'm so glad Tom was able to make it out the other night to film you and Kate. You both were awesome as always and sounded great! MUAHHHHH!
I sure enjoyed our show at Alberta Street the other night and I'm looking forward to doing it again at the Gotham Tavern in a couple of weeks...you sounded fabulous.
Alexa! It was great meeting you at FA! That jam session was fantastic, I really loved your tunes! We should split a bill in PDX one of these days!! Take care!! Emily
Hey Alexa!! How's everything and everyone!? I miss seein ya! That and I was just in the cybborhood to check out your schedule and see that you've teamed up with Kate on couple of gigs in April...very cool. Hopefully I can get out to your show at the end of the month at the Grand Lodge! Have a great week!!
Love the new posts Coyote! If Hendricks makes his way back to PDX I will be sure to find another truck that shoots fire out its ass to pick him up in. xo
I am truly amazed by yours and Kate Mann's ability to sing your message so sincerely and play your guitar just as well too.. My playing is worlds apart from this and Tom's "Images of Balance" really helped to awaken my appreciation for other musicians. Paul was awesome on the films performance as well.
I really dug meeting you at FAR-West. Thanks for the CD. I stayed a week in Washington, and listened to your album a lot as I explored the gorge, and wandered the countryside. Could not have asked for a better soundtrack. I particularly love "Eating That Way". It captures your open hearted vibe.
I will be coming back up there before too long. Any advice about booking a few dates in Portland would be welcome.
Yeah it was good cold freezing fun!!! Well....I loved the cold anyway.. My parents were in town as a birthday surprise for Raven(12/20)and Skyler(12/12). Also, yesterday was my dad's birthday! Oi! way too much fun! So the trip to the farmers market was a five in one event....after telling them about how cool the markets are up here for the past four years....and with only two weeks of the season left...we had to go... With the birthday celebrations later in the evening we needed lunch and other special supplies for the big b-day dinner (for the dinner I made lamb shanks braised with chestnuts, beets, sauteed spinach with Oregon black truffles and olive bread. The beets, truffles and bread were bought from the market(photos are posted...i'm sending a bulletin out now as well)) The lunch we gathered from the market was just amazing.Smoked salmon, pates, fresh yet very stinky cheeses, fig and anise panini bread, wheat free breads for mom,an awesome mesclun baby greens salad mix and of course the fresh wild mushrooms!! They had the black trumpets i've been waiting all year for!!As well as the chantrelles and one other that I can't remember the name for...argh.Oh well....they were delicious sauteed in garlic.
I was great to see you again....and nice to meet Steve! I'll mark my calendar for the nine muses show!
