Polish Show Cancellation(s)…

Much to our dismay, our shows at Minoga in Poznan, PL and at Loch Ness in Krakow, PL have been cancelled in lieu of the recent disaster involving the recent crash of flight Tupolev Tu-154M en route from Krakow to Smolensk RUS carrying Polish President Lech Kaczyński and several members of his cabinet.

Speaking on behalf of A Wilhelm Scream – I’d like to offer our deepest sympathies to those who have been both directly and indirectly effected by this horrific event. We fully understand the reasoning behind the cancellation of both shows as we cannot even begin to imagine the sorrow that is going on within the minds and hearts of the citizens of ....Poland.....

Having two members of the band of Polish/Half-Polish descent (Michał/Nick), we were truly looking forward to visiting the country of their ancestral bloodlines (we seriously get stoked on that sort of stuff). We are also aware of the highly praised reputation that ....Poland.... has for putting on great punk rock shows.  

That being said - As you may or may not know, A Wilhelm Scream frequently travels to Europe, and we will do everything in our power to make up for these cancelled shows on our next tour East of the Atlantic.

Again, our deepest compassion goes out to the people of ....Poland.... in these days of mourning,
